- The student will describe the physical development
of school-age children.
- The student will describe the intellectual
development of school-age children.
- The student will describe the social-emotional
development of school-age children.
- The student will describe the importance of
play and play activities in children's lives.
- The student will explain how adults can help
children learn through play, art, music, science and books.
- The student will describe ways to protect children
from neglect and abuse.
- The student will list resources available for
children in crises.
- The student will recognize needs of children
with developmental differences.
