Cartooning and Animation

This course introduces students to all aspects of cartooning and animation techniques. Students will learn how to create a cartoon character and bring it to life using industry standard animation software. Projects include everything from creating cartoon shorts to producing a full-lenth collaborative animated story. Studying the works of famous animators you will learn to replicate the styles of Walt Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network. Today we see animation everywhere--telelvision, the World Wide Web, and the Big Screen. This couse can be your first step into the rapidly growing industry...from StrongBad to Spongebob, this course covers it all.
