Starting for the 2019–2020 school year, schedule change requests will no longer be made using a paper form. Schedule change requests will instead be made using an online form found on the RHS website (see link below). Students have the opportunity to change schedules twice during the school year. Students had the opportunity to request changes in August. The second and final opportunity for T2 and T3 changes is coming up November 4th to November 7th.
To request a change, students must complete the online request form in its entirety. Upon completion and submission of the online request change form, students will be able to view approved changes to their schedule in the Campus Portal by the end of each schedule change period. Schedule level change requests will be made on a limited basis. Students whose request cannot be honored will receive communication from their counselor. Parents and students should discuss possible changes before filling out the form and parents are encouraged to contact teachers as questions arise about appropriate class placement.

Thank you for understanding this important process for our growing building. Course offerings, staffing decisions, and sectioning decisions are all made based on the courses that students selected at the time of registration last January. When students request to change a course, it can cause significant stress on class sizes. For this reason, please note that the schedule change time period is meant to address true errors in a student's schedule.
