Families with children who may attend Rosemount Middle School and Rosemount High School have an upcoming opportunity to see and learn about recent improvements at these schools. The District 196 "Safe and Successful Schools Showcase" event will be held Tuesday, May 14, 6–7:30 p.m. The 90–minute tour will start at the entrance to Rosemount Elementary at 6 p.m., will continue to Rosemount Middle and will end at Rosemount High. The tour will be guided by the principals of these three schools.
Schools all across District 196 received significant improvements to increase safety, upgrade learning spaces and increase access to technology with funding from a bond referendum approved by district voters in 2015. The last of these improvements were completed earlier this year at Rosemount Middle and Rosemount High.
The tour begins promptly at 6 p.m. at Rosemount Elementary, 3155 143rd St. W. Bus transportation will be provided between schools. For more information, visit www.District196.org/showcase.
