Buckthorn, Be Gone!

Buckthorn has been a thorn in the side of many urban forests for decades.
On Tuesday afternoon, a group of Rosemount High School students and other members of the community spent the afternoon clearing invasive buckthorn from Carroll's Woods.
Jes Braun, who is a Minnesota GreenCorps member through the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, spearheaded the event along with Allison Driessen, biology teacher and Ecology Club advisor at Rosemount High School.
