In Boy’s Tennis last week Anshul and Aashish Bharath won their doubles section with a first set of 6-2 and 6-3 in the second. They will play at state this Thursday at 10:00am and 2:00pm at the Baseline Center on the Campus of the University of Minnesota. Congratulations to Anshul and Aashish Bharath and Head Coach Dana Beck and Assistant Coach, Chris Orr!
State Track and Field will be held on Friday at Hamline University. On the girl’s side they won the 3AA Team Section Title last Thursday and the following three girls qualified for state and will participate in these events on Friday and Saturday at Hamline:
Lexy Berger: Pole Vault and High Jump
Shae Buchman: Long Jump and 100m Hurdles
Arianna Passeri: 100m Dash and Triple Jump
Head Girls’ Track and Field Coach, Sara Hatleli, was named the Section Coach of the Year last week!
On the Boy’s Track and Field side we have two individuals going to state. They will compete on Friday morning, and they are as follows:
Zaffer Hussein - 1600M
Trevor Otterdahl - Shot Put and Discus
