Student Learnings: What students should know and be able to do

  • Demonstrate safe working habits and procedures.
  • Proper and safe use of basic and common woodworking hand tools and power hand tools.
  • Awareness of and proper/safe use of woodworking machines.
  • Follow verbal and written directions, including reading construction drawings.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and willingness to show your best work.
  • Demonstrate and understand the concept of completing the task at hand and the actual project.
