Student Learnings: What students should know and be able to do

  • Demonstrate safe working habits and procedures in all aspects of the woods lab including the use of all woodworking hand tools and wood working machines and power hand tools.
  • Follow verbal and written directions.
  • Read working drawings.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and a willingness to show your best work.
  • Demonstrate and understand the concept of completing the task at hand and the actual project.
  • Research, design and develop a working sketch of approved project idea.
