STATE REQUIREMENTS ARE (1) CREDIT OF VISUAL ARTS, MUSIC, THEATER, DANCE OR MEDIA ARTS; DISTRICT 196 REQUIRES NO ARTS COURSES FOR GRADUATION.

The district recognizes that all visual and performing arts courses offered in our high schools meet arts standards and the state requirement of (1) credit. There are additional courses in other departments that offer the art standards and required credit. Please refer to your school's registration guide for these courses.
