• 1 Day will not start in next game
• 2 Days will miss one half of next game
• 3 Days will not play in next game
• Unexcused Absence will not play in next game
II. Tardy Policy
• Excused Tardy see individual position coach for make-up activity
• Unexcused Tardy individual will do immediate physical activity with Coach Sherwin
• ISS and DETENTION will be considered an unexcused absence and the athlete will not play in half of the next game.
III. Restrictions
• No food or drink will be allowed in any meetings, weight room, or locker room
• No bandannas, ties, or personalized towels. We expect to look like a team at practice, in the weight room, at all team and position meetings, and on Game days during school.
• Players are expected to act with class in the locker room. Incidents of hazing will be dealt with in an individual manner. Players involved in hazing may forfeit their right to playing time or membership in Lightning Football.
• Do not alter any of your equipment.
• No players are allowed in the equipment room unless invited by a coach.
• All MSHSL policies will be strictly enforced.
• We expect players to make excellent decisions on sleep, classroom performance, behavior, etc. Players are "agents" of our program and will be held accountable for poor decision making.
• Players are expected to partake in a normal school day on all Game Days. Game day does not give the athlete free license to enact his own personal agenda at school.
