Students will understand why labor laws were mandated and how they protect the employee in the workplace.
The student will understand various work site safety procedures and demonstrate the safe handling of tools/equipment and hazardous materials at his/her work site.
Students will identify the purposes of a union and the advantages and disadvantages of union membership.
