3D Studio VIZ > Main
3D Studio VIZ is another version of a program called 3D Studio Max. These programs we used third quarter to do one huge project. The only real difference between VIZ and Max is that Max can make cool things like smoke and liquid, whereas VIZ can make trees and railings. Even though the restriction of having to use VIZ was severe, I was able to come up with a project that turned out to be somewhat decent. I made a castle, and then an animation sequence that flies through it. The most difficult part of the project was making shapes and trying to texture them to look good. My castle project can be viewed in video format by clicking the "Video" link on the left, and a still image (of high quality) can be viewed under the "Renders" link.
