Welcome to the Rosemount Middle School. Our goal is to help every student reach his or her full potential. We believe that the whole child's development of personal, social, physical, and academic skills is critical for success in life. We want every student to have success in the classroom and also in before and after school experiences. Whether you're a parent, student or community member, our intent is for you to feel welcome in our school.
Thursday, Oct 25 - Wednesday Oct 31: During School Hours
Tuesday, Oct 30 and Thursday Nov 1: During Conference Hours: Students will have a chance to visit the Book Fair during English class or come with their families during conferences.
Online Shopping: Oct 21 - Nov 10:
Purchases from the online fair are shipped to RMS and the profits also benefit the RMS library.
STUDENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteering at the Book Fair is the perfect way to help our library raise money for more books and help your friends and classmates find the books they can't wait to read. Sign up now to help out during conference times on Oct. 30th and Nov. 1st.
In order to volunteer, you must participate in a training session. Sign up for a training session by clicking the picture above. Training will be offered before school from 7:30 – 8:00 and from 11:15 – 11:45 (2nd lunch) on Oct. 24 – 26 and 29 – 31.
Volunteer time slots are two hour blocks. You are welcome to sign up for more than one time slot, if you'd like. Conferences run on Tues., 10/30 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and on Thurs, 11/1 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
|There is a 15 minute video highlighting some of the great books and authors featured in the book fair. This a perfect activity to use with advisory groups, or to use as a "book talk" in ELA classes. Go here to see the highlights!|
RMS has many new systems this year. We want to make sure you are connected to the information you need. Our two primary parent systems are Infinite Campus and Schoology. A third system, FeePay, provides access to sport and activity sign-ups and paying fees. Your Infinite Campus account gets you access to attendance, demographics, and final term grades. Infinite Campus account setup and information was mailed to district families the first week of August.
Schoology is your best resource for helping your child stay on top of classroom activities and materials. As a parent, you are able to access daily workflows, classroom materials, day-to-day grades, and course calendars. Parent Schoology account access codes for incoming 6th grade students and new students can be requested via firstname.lastname@example.org. If are a returning RMS parent and you do not have a Schoology parent account set up for your household, please contact email@example.com to request an access key and directions.
|In 2015, residents of District 196 approved a Bond Referendum to support our school district with additional instructional space, safety/security, and technology. Please visit the construction page for more information and timelines on this project.|
