Eastview High School High Potential Program Four Year Outline

          Ninth Grade:

·         Parents and students large group information meeting

·         Individual counseling session - initial interview with student and parents and development of the four year plan

·         Focus Groups  (Monthly small group opportunity that focuses on issues pertaining to

 high potential students)

·         Ninth grade high potential students meeting with senior facilitators

·         Development of personal portfolio

Tenth Grade:

·         Individual counseling session with student and parents

·         Focus Groups

·         Group college planning informational meeting with all sophomore high potential students

·         Development of personal portfolio

Eleventh Grade:

·         Individual college selection session with student and parents

·         Focus Groups

·         College Information Night for parents and students

·         Development of personal portfolio

Twelfth Grade:

·         Focus Groups

·         Individual college selection appointments as needed

·         Large group session for students - “College Success” seminar

·         Development of personal portfolio
