Homework: It is essential that you be prepared for class each day. Therefore

Each complete homework assignment will receive 10 points. Points will be recorded
on your homework tally sheet. You will then correct your own homework in class.
Tests/Quizzes: Within each chapter, you will complete several quizzes and/or
a chapter test. Quizzes and tests will provide practical opportunities to demonstrate
what you have learned and may evaluate one or more of the following skills:
listening, speaking, reading, writing or culture.
Make-up: It is your responsibility to get your own make-up work. I will post
a list of assignments in the room. Make up homework by the required deadline:
within 2 days per excused absence; within 1 day per unexcused absence. All
chapter quizzes must be completed by chapter’s end. If you miss a test
or quiz, you will have to see me to schedule a time to make it up. I am available
Tuesdays and Thursdays before and after school.
