2001-2002. Grades 10,11,12 in 01-02. Congratulations to Eastview as the League
Champion.

2001 Fast Break Summer Team League Rules
- Games are two-25 minute running time halves. The clock will stop only the
final two minutes of the game. Overtime will be two minutes of stop time.
- Bonus free throws will be shot on the 7th team foul of each
half.
- Teams get three-20 second time outs per game.
- Profanity or verbal abuse towards officials or other players is unacceptable.
Technical fouls for fighting will result in ejection from the game and one
or more game suspension from the league as determined by league management.
Carl Britt is the head official of the league.
- Individual will foul out on the 5th team foul.
- Adults from Eastview will be working the tables and the clock.
- Each team will be responsible for entering their team in the game book.
- A ten minute grace period will be given to teams and at the end of the
grace period a forfeit will be given to team.
- In the North and South Auxillary gym, each visiting team on the schedule
(not home team on schedule) will provide one adult to run the clock just
for scoring.

Fast Break Summer Team League Informational Items
- Each team will play one game each night. Games will be played on Tuesday
and Thursday night.
- Games will start promptly. Don’t be late. If you cannot field enough
players on a particular game or for a particular day, you must call me
as soon as
you know this. There are teams traveling for over an hour to play in this
league -- be respectful to them.
- Concession will be available -- Powerade, candy, etc.
- We will have ice available for injuries ,but no trainer will be on site.
Please make sure we have your correct phone number in case of a serious injury.
- The final week will be the playoffs and teams will be seated by record
and scores. The championship team and runner-up will be crowned.
The tournament will consist of a single elimination.
- An All League Team will be selected at the end of the season and MVP of
the league will be selected and honored during the Championship game.
- Each team will receive Adidas Jerseys and league shirts.
- Each team will be responsible for sending me a roster of their team three
months before the league begins and what number (0-9), each player will receive
for the League Program. Also, Parent/Guardian will need to fill out permission
form for their son for their son to participate.
- We will not provide basketballs. The league will provide one game ball
per court.
- Please notice the game times start at 6:10 on June 12th.
Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of time the first day to receive uniforms.
- It is extremely important that each team communicates with me about fielding
a team for each night. Let’s have no forfeits. It was a great success last
year and Let’s have another fantastic year.

Waiver: By signing this document, I agree to each of the following statements:
I agree and understand that participating in the
Fast Break Summer Basketball League program, including related games, practice
and other activities conducted on the premises of Eastview High School or elsewhere
(program), is a potentially hazardous activity and that my son/legal responsibility
should not participate unless he is medically able and in proper physical condition.
I certify that my son/legal responsibility is medically able and in proper
physical condition to participate in the Program, and that I am responsible
for the decision whether to obtain medical insurance coverage for my son/legal
responsibility. I agree to assume any and all risks associated with my son’s/legal
responsibility’s participation in the Program, including but not limited to,
those arising from contact with other participants and the affects of heat
and humidity. I understand that participation in the Program includes a risk
of injury and a potential transmission of infectious diseases such as HIV and
hepatitis. I acknowledge that it is impossible to eliminate all known and unknown
risks potentially arising through participation in the Program. I hereby, on
behalf of myself and my son/legal responsibility, and our respective representatives,
successors, executors, heirs, assigns or administrators who might assert a
claim or exercise a right on either of our behalves, covenant and agree not
to sue and waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless: (a) The Program, (b)
its director and staff, referees, sponsors, participating schools and their

Hold Harmless Participant Agreement
In consideration of the permission granted to me to participate in the Fast
Break Summer League (League), I hereby acknowledge and agree that: (a) the
League, (b) the League director, staff, referees, sponsors, participating schools
and their representatives (League Representatives), © Eastview High School,
and
- anyone acting on their behalves, shall have no responsibility and/or liability
for any personal injury that I may suffer, or damage relating to personal
property that may arise, as a result of my participation in the League. By
signing this Agreement, I agree to release and hold harmless these parties
from and against any and all claims, suits or actions arising from any such
personal injury or property damage resulting from my participation in the
League..
By signing this Agreement, I further represent to the League and the League
Representatives that I am medically able and in proper physical condition to
participate in the League.

Number of Players/Teams: The
league will accept up to 20 teams. Recommend 10-11 players per team and registered
as a team from your high school. You must play for your own school team.
Players will not be allowed to play for another school. No phone registration.
