Typography

As you begin to develop your page, you should pay attention to how your text looks on the page.  You will have control over the type and size of font, colors used and justification of text.  Be careful of using fonts that might not be recognized on other platforms.  Some other areas to consider include:

  • Make sure your information is legible (color of font and color of  background).

  • Be consistent in your use of font, alignment, justification, colors and capitalization

  • Use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) can greatly improve your ability to organize and design web pages in the style you desire.
