Welcome
to Nancy McLain's Home Page!
This is my 22nd year of teaching, my 11th year at Eastview
High School. I grew up in Canby, Minnesota and obtained my BS degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Mn. in 1976. I earned my Masters Degree at St. Mary's University. I began the CIP Program here at EVHS in 1998.
CIP stands for the Interaction Communication Program. This
Centered Based program is for students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. This
Special Education program provides support services in the areas of academics
and transition to help students successfully make it through their classes
and to graduate from high school. The CIP teacher also works with the
general education teachers to make sure they are able to make the accommodations
and modifications that the student needs to be successful. I will
teach CIP English, Science and Social Studies 9-12 grade.
