In this class we took an introductory look into many of the systems of the body and how each of the different components of the systems interacts. For the most part, the trend we have followed was going from small to large, and then from outside to inside.
For example we started with cells before moving on to tissues and then skin and muscles and bones.
My favorite unit this year was the nervous system because it is so complex and vital to the processes of the human body.
The textbook we used was Visual Anatomy and Physiology. This book was unique because it focused on visuals rather than text which helped to better guide our studies.
