Throughout the year so far, we have learned a few different programs in Multimedia class. Starting with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 in Quarter 1, we completed four different projects. After learning the basics of Photoshop in Quarter 1, we moved onto Adobe Premiere 6.0 for Quarter 2. In this program, the first step was to film footage for our projects. Bringing the footage in on mini DV tapes, we learned how to capture the video and from there, how to edit video and audio together for our final projects. We had to do two different projects using Premiere in Quarter 2. This program was and still is by far my favorite program that we have had the privilege to use. I have both Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Adobe Premiere 6.5 at home and I utilize Premiere a lot in making videos for fun. Currently though in Quarter 3, we are learning a completely new and different program. Our project assignment is to learn how to use Macromedia Dreamweaver in the attempt to design a portfolio type website for all of our projects throughout the year. This website is the final project for this quarter. For Quarter 4, I think the plan is to learn how to use 3ds max and make 3D animations, though I will no longer be in this class; therefore I will not have any projects to display on the Quarter 4 webpage.
