Folly work

Folly

Folly is the sound design aspect of film making of all sorts. It involves making most sounds like footsteps, ambient noise, doors, talking, etc.  But not sounds like explosions or gunfire.

My project

I worked with a large group and completed an assignment requiring that we re-make the sound design in a movie seen of our choice. Our group chose to re work the sounds in a seen in inception called “the dream collapsing sequence”. We used many materials to make our project such as a piece of plywood, a pipe, wire, paper, a staple gun, and a whiteboard. The process took over three weeks to record and edit over the sound and voice. This was the result.
