That day

Remember when we spent that day together,
It was so cold we had to stay together.
Your cheeks were so red from the weather,
I wish that moment had lasted forever.

It rained so hard we were both wet,
But we had each other so we could care less.
I’m so glad that was the day we met,
We promised to relieve each other’s stress.

We went under that tree and talked for hours,
It was like we’ve been with each other since birth.
We stared at the flowers in these April showers,
We promised our love would last longer than earth.

Remember when we spent that day together,
That was the first day of our forever.

A lost dream

A beautiful girl,
With a beautiful mind.
We spent our summer,
Giving each other our time.

We don’t go to the same school.
We don’t live in the same neighborhood.
I never knew her name,
But she always remembered mine.

The one girl,
Who’s still trapped in my mind.

Peace of mind

A beautiful place
Peace of mind

At a motionless pace,
With unlimited sun shine.

A endless field,
With endless power.

A sunflower field,
With a million flowers.

Free at will
Free at last

For this moment
Will forever last

Those days

I remember those days
Those days when we couldn’t stay apart

Those days when you actually had a heart
Those days we were so sure

That we were closer than a lemon being tart
A board and a dart

The beat to my heart
This poem at this part

Man we were closer than
An artist and his art

Remember when I came to your job
And stayed the entire day

Your manager thought it was cute
Then the next day you had to tell him were through

Those days I love those days
But everything great has to end in the worst ways

The day that we met
Is better than any love song you’ve heard yet

Your cheeks were so red because of the weather
That was the first day of our forever

That will always be
My greatest treasure
