My first quarter we worked with adobe Photoshop, and I really have fallen in love with it. This program allows you to create anything you want as long as you have the creativity for it. You don’t have to have any real life skills. I loved creating pictures or changing them.

Here is what I did:

This is the first project we did in this class. It is a self-portrait. In the assignment we were asked to create an image including most of the skills we have with Photoshop and showing things about yourself. We were asked to include things we like and a picture of us. I chose to make a picture frame out of picture reflecting me, I also added so words to point out things I really like.

In the next assignment we had to put our face in another picture. This assignment also gave us a lot of creativity. I chose a movie poster of “Oz-the great and powerful”, because I really like this movie. I do not really like the picture I created, because my face doesn’t really blend in with the rest of the picture.

Sorry, that this picture is that small. I didn’t save it in a high enough resolution, which I regret now, but hey you learn from your mistakes. =)
Here we were asked to choose a quote by a person we look up to and then put the text inside their head. I chose Mark Twain, because I just love everything he writes. I really like this outcome, but sadly it is too small.

This project was pretty open to us. We were asked to create a picture to the theme “you can create tomorrow”. I took a picture of me and my friends in the snow and then cut it into the form of the text. The background text is a couple of sentences I would think of to the theme of "you can create tomorrow". I really like the picture I created and it was super fun to make it because we had so much freedom.

In the final we would do whatever we wanted, well as long as it was approved by the teacher. I made a picture for a friend I know for a long time and her birthday was just shortly before the due date, which really worked out. I took a picture of the night sky from the internet and pasted a german fairy tale over it, then I made the fairy tale text almost invisible. One top of that I put a picture of my friend, which I changed a little bit in Photoshop as well and next to her I but one of my favorite sayings. Because it still look pretty empty I put some flowers on there as well. I really like how this project looks now!
