I am also on the speech and debate teams. I have done debate for two years and speech for one year.

My category in speech is called Discussion. At each round, you are given a topic to discuss and possibly come up with solutions with the rest of the people in yuor round. It requires a lot of research, but it is a lot of fun.

I do classic debate with my partner Lydia. We took tenth at JV state this year. Through debate, I have met one of my best friends, Kelly. Hanging out with everyone at the tournaments and making new friends is my favorite part of speech and debate.
