Dreamweaver > Introduction

We like to use Dreamweaver here at EVHS as it is a very capable WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor, it gives us Roundtrip HTML, and it is very strong in editing tables. Dreamweaver also has the ability for us to allow multiple students to work on the same web site at the same time through the Check Out system. We can define an unlimited number of sites to be worked on under Dreamweaver, as well. Through the use of editable regions, we can restrict web page makers to only working on certain parts of the site as well. With these features (and more), we are able to teach the aspects of web design we feel are most appropriate for our classroom environment.

Feel free to work on the Dreamweaver tutorials at your own pace. You might find it easier to have both this web page and your software open at the same time. As you are learning Dreamweaver, think about designing your webpage for this class.
