District 196 pauses use of Zoom

April 7th, 2020

Due to student safety/security concerns, District 196 is temporarily pausing the use of Zoom with classes/groups of students and their teachers this week. Some limited, specific use of Zoom (one–to–one, staff–to–student instruction and check–in, for example) is still permitted. The district is researching options to determine the safest and most effective video conferencing tool to use going forward. More information will be available by Friday.
