Dear Rosemount Community,
Last weekend our Boy's Cross Country Team ran in the state cross country meet for the seventh consecutive year. Our team has gone to state eleven times over the past fifty years of boys cross country at RHS. The years we have gone are as follows: 1990, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. The Irish finished 12th this past weekend and Luke Labatte, a 10th grader, missed all-state by 2 spots.
Congratulations to the team and Head Coach, Chris Harder, and Assistant Coaches, Brian Fendrich, Charlie Lorch, and Sara Hatleli.
Our Girl's Swim and Dive Team will compete this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at the Blue Water Pool in Apple Valley at 6:00pm each night.
In Section Championship Football the Irish beat Centennial 18-13 to advance to the first round of the state tourney. Our first game will be this Friday, November 11th at Woodbury High School vs Champlin Park at 7:00pm.
Congratulations to the team and Head Coach, Jeff Erdmann, and Assistant Coaches, Parc Williams, Chris Swansson, Drew Storley, Scott Peters, Mike O'Malley, Steve Clausen, and Tyler Pauly.
We will be selling fan bus tickets Tuesday through Friday in the student center during all three lunches for $5.00 and student game tickets for $6.00. The bus will leave Friday night from RHS at 5:15pm.
We will sell tickets to our community Wednesday through Friday in the main office from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Adult tickets are $9.00 and student tickets are $6.00.
Come out and cheer the Irish Football Team on to victory as one more win will send the Irish to US Bank Stadium.
