Congratulations to members of the Rosemount HS Band and Choir who auditioned for and were selected into the 2015-16 Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) All State Ensembles!
Over 1,900 students from throughout the state participated in a rigorous and challenging audition process this past March. These selected All-State members will attend a week-long All-State summer music camp:
•All-State Symphonic, Concert and Jazz Bands, Aug. 3-8th, occurring at the St. Olaf College
•All-State Orchestra, Aug. 3-8, occurring at College of St. Benedict
•All-State Choirs, Aug. 3-8, occurring at Concordia College Moorhead.

Jacob Campen, Bass 1 - All-State Mixed Choir
Madison Drinen, Bass Clarinet – All State Concert Band
Isabel Edgar, Clarinet – All State Symphonic Band
Wesley Ellison, Clarinet – All State Concert Band
Jacob Grunklee, French Horn – All State Orchestra
Nathan Leosch, Trumpet – All State Jazz Band
Bailey Leuth, Trumpet – All State Symphonic Band

The students will rehearse music during the summer camp to be performed in a concert at the conclusion of the week-long summer camp, Saturday, August 8, 1:30 PM. In addition, the All-State groups will perform a concert at Orchestra Hall (downtown Minneapolis), February 13, 2016 which will be recorded and broadcast over the Minnesota Public Radio Network.
Congratulations to all of these RHS student musicians, this is a very prestigious accomplishment and we are extremely proud of them!!!
