Ellie Vraa has been awarded the 2015 RHS Athena Award. She will receive this award at the Athena Banquet on April 15th in Oakdale. This award was voted on by the Head Coaches at RHS. Below is snapshot of her biography.
Ellie Vraa is a two year varsity starter for volleyball. Her senior year she was co-captain and both years she was named Outstanding Academic Player. In 2013 she was the most improved player. She is a quiet leader on the court inspiring her team through hard work. Her hard work and athleticism produced 154 blocks during her career placing her 5th on the all-time record board.
In basketball, Ellie is a Senior Captain who has been a three-time South Suburban Conference Honorable Mention player. She is also a four year letter winner all while compiling a 4.0 GPA and receiving the schools AAA Award. She is an all-around player who does everything on both ends of the court.
