The Instructional Media Center in conjunction with the Career Center provides students with a variety of resources offering information on various careers. Available in the library's collection are books discussing specific careers in medicine, health care, technology, sports, insurance, business management and many others.

To locate these materials in the Winnebago catalog, use the keywords: careers...or...occupations...or...vocations. To locate books on specific careers, type in the name of the occupation in which you are interested.

Look for Books with these Call Numbers

Career Information can be obtained by looking in the specific subject fields. For example:

    careers in Medicine can be found in the 600's
    careers in Science can be found in the 500's.

a career exploration program, providing information on occupations, employment, education and training. Includes descriptions of occupations, job search strategies, military careers, education programs with emphasis on Minnesota and financial aid.
