Karlee: Hey Eastview and welcome to another episode of the 4cast.

 

Kelsey: Today is Tuesday January 15th, so lets get to some announcements.                                                                                                                            

Karlee: Intramural Basketball games will be played on Monday, January 21. See the Intramural Board in the commons or find Mr. Kelly if you have any questions.

 

Karlee: The 2008 Futsal Tournament registration forms are now located in the Main Office.  If you like to play soccer, and you like tournaments, find some friends and make up a team for a Saturday of Futsal! 

 

Karlee: Congratulations to all the girls that placed in the Duluth figure skating competition. Special Congratulations to Kelly Kayser for placing first in free skate. Keep up the hard work girls!                                                                                                  

Kelsey: The Varsity and JV Alpine Ski team finished 4th in the Overall Team Cup standings at the First Annual Buck Hill Invite last Friday. Great effort!

                                                                                               

Kelsey: Eastview Dance Department presents “Works in Progress”! Come out and see what the students have choreographed this quarter. The show is this Friday at 7:00 pm in the PAC! ALL Tickets $5.00 and can be purchased in the dance studio during school.

 

Kelsey: If you got some rhymes and want to make some dimes, Jessica has the story to help you out.

Karlee:  Congratulations to the Mock Trial team for their 8th and 12th place finish at the Lake Conference tournament over the weekend. Congratulations to Evan Friedley and Steven Westergren, Gia Sonsalla, Amanda English and Steven Westergren for outstanding performances.

 

Karlee: Congratulations to the BPA Team for their outstanding performance at the 2008 Regional Competition held at Century College last Friday.  Every person who participated in the regional competition placed in the top ten of at least one of their events! Great Job!

 

Kelsey: Attention juniors, now is your chance to get preferential seating at Prom 2008.  Join the Prom Committee!! Applications can be obtained from Ms. Winslow in the Main Office, Mrs. Huhner in Room C138 or Mrs. Sherwin in Room A110.   Applications are due tomorrow so pick up your application today!

 

Kelsey: To all Student Council Members and those interested in Relay For Life, The Relay for Life of Apple Valley has started its planning process. The next planning meeting will be after school in C250 and anyone who would like to participate is welcome. So be sure to show your support!

 

Karlee: The Eastview Science Olympiad team brought 3 teams to the first-ever Wayzata Invitational last Saturday.  Our teams finished in 7th, 10th, and 11th place. In seven of 19 events, groups earned 2nd or 3rd place medals. Great Job! There will also be a meeting today after school in C339.

 

Karlee: There will be a mandatory Yearbook meeting for ALL members after school today in the Yearbook room.  If you cannot attend, you must see Ms. Alexander or Ms. Kitchener as soon as possible. See You There!
