• July 2012: In order for old & new families to be able to connect with other players and parents before the high school season, we kick-off with a program-wide potluck lunch/picnic & grass volleyball extravaganza sometime during the last part of July. Historically we've held the picnic at Eastview High School and it's been the last weekend of the month. The date is still TBD, so stay tuned!
• August 13, 2012: Try-outs begin at Eastview High School. We will begin with a meeting at 8:00 to check registrations, define expectations of the try-outs, and hand out information pertaining to the season. Throughout the week we will be practicing and the coaches will be assessing athletes to determine placement of teams.
• August 20, 2012: ThunderBreak is our Player/Parent/Coach meeting which is also done in potluck form. This is to connect the parents and coaches and parents to other parents. This is a required meeting for parent(s) or guardian(s) of each player to attend. Volunteer opportunities are also defined and signed up for this day.

SUMMER CAMPS & WORKOUT SESSIONS (see link above for camp options & registrations)
It is highly encouraged by the Eastview Volleyball Staff to create your camp schedule so you are able to attend the Eastview Volleyball Camp and Super Group over other camps and strength & conditioning programs. Before signing up for a different or additional strength & conditioning program, it is best to talk to Coach Egan prior to doing so. Your commitment to the success of yourself reflects directly to the success we will see in the future of our program.
Our returning JV/Var players will be attending the Concordia University Team Camp July 21-22.

2012-13 Coaching Staff
We are sad to announce that Coach Lieffort will be leaving the coaching staff after 9 years of being heavily involved with the volleyball program. We wish her luck in her new endeavors and growing family. We'll miss you, Lieffort! In addition, Coach Mulsoff will also be leaving our staff after 2 seaons to continue his education.
We hope to see both faces around the gym!

Coach Megan Williams will be joining our staff at the 9th grade level after being an assistant coach at East Ridge High School & a coach for the last four seasons at Northern Lights. She is a 6th grade Reading teacher at Rosemount Middle School and Scott Highlands Middle School.

The remainder of the staff is the same with Coach Newton holding the reins at the Sophomore level, Coach Russell with the Junior Varsity, and Coach Parr, Coach Beer, & Coach Egan at the Varsity team.
