YEARBOOK RAFFLE

Yearbook Raffle – We have some extra yearbooks that we will give away through a raffle process.  Stop by the Attendance Office and scan the QR code or click here to complete the form online.  

 

NEWSPAPER EDITOR APPLICATIONS

If you are interested in being an editor for the Newspaper next year, please see Mr. Currie in room C236 to pick up an application. 

 

LINC MENTORING INFORMATION

To all incoming juniors and seniors: If you are interested in being part of LINC Mentoring next year, please go to the following link and fill out the information. We will have informational meetings in August to discuss next school year, and in order to get that information out to you this summer, this survey will get me the information I need to contact you. If you have questions please see Mr. Currie in C236.

2017-2018 YEARBOOKS

If you ordered a yearbook and have not picked it up, please do so in the Main Office today.  Go here to see if you ordered a book. You will need a student ID or Student VUE profile on our iPad/Phone to receive your book.   You will only be allowed to get your yearbook.  Extra yearbooks are being sold for $90 on a first come first served basis in the Main Office while supplies last.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT EASTVIEW ON JUNE 27

The greater Eastview community of parents, family members, and neighbors are invited to donate blood as part of the NHS-sponsored drive on Wednesday, June 27 from 8AM to  2PM in Eastview’s South Gym. Donation registration is completely online @ http://www.redcrossblood.org/give/drive/driveSearch.jsp Type “Eastview,” our sponsor code, in the search box and the follow the online prompts. See John Kelly in C232 or email at john.kelly@district196.org with questions or concerns. Please keep in mind that there is no school on June 27, 2018. All are welcome to donate.

 

 

SUMMER 5K and ½ MILE FUN RUN

The Eastview Men’s Cross Country Team is sponsoring a new summer 5K and ½ mile kids Fun Run.  Proceeds from the races will be used to support Special Olympics Minnesota and the Eastview Unified Schools Program.  The races will be held on Saturday, July 14th, 2018; starting and ending at the stadium.  The Unified Schools Vision as stated by Special Olympics Minnesota is to “promote school communities where all the young people are agents of change: fostering acceptance, respect, dignity and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities and thereby anyone who is perceived as different.”  Registration for the races is on-line at https://register.chronotrack.com/r/40704.  Program support donations may also be made at the registration site for those unable to attend the event.

 

BOYS VOLLEYBALL FUNDRAISER

The new Eastview Boys Volleyball club is doing an ongoing fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings in Apple Valley.  If you give them the code TEAM E, or bring the attached flyer/card with you, https://goo.gl/YDM5aX we will get 10% of the total bill including beverages.  If you need some hot wings during our cold Spring, stop in and support the boys volleyball club!

  

HDI COLOR CYCLE PROJECT

The student-led, non-profit organization, Humanitarian Development Initiative or “HDI” is currently collecting markers as part of Crayola’s Color Cycle Project. The HDI collected markers/highlighters will be shipped to Crayola where they will be recycled into biofuel. Currently, a majority of markers/highlighters are not being recycled properly, adding to unnecessary waste and pollution. Please consider recycling old and used markers with HDI.
