RAFFLE AND AUCTION ITEMS NEEDED
WE NEED YOUR HELP!! The 2019 Eastview Senior Party Bingo/Raffle/Online Auction Committee is still in need of donations to help make this event a success. We need all types of items that could be used as a bingo prize, raffle basket or for our online auction. Larger items for our auction are especially needed – suggestions include rounds of golf, theatre tickets, hotel stays, etc., but any product, service or even cash would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Lori Moore at lori.moore58@yahoo.com to make arrangements or for more information.
NEW IN THE LEARNING COMMONS FOR Q3!
Due to increased numbers of students visiting the Learning Commons after school, we will be adding new spaces to accommodate the needs of our students. Our purpose has always been to provide a safe and supervised space for students who need to stay after school, though may not be in a supervised activity.
Students will have three after school locations available:
Learning Commons: Our focus will be on providing resources and space for independent and collaborative academic and programed activities or quiet study.
C250 Lecture Room: This will be a supervised area that may be used as a study hall and relaxed student engagement area for those students waiting for transportation pick-up or later activity start times between 2:45pm – 4:45pm.
West Entry Vestibule: Students waiting for short-term transportation pickup may wait in the temperature controlled West Vestibule, though may not re-enter the building without permission.
Upcoming Events and Learning Opportunities will begin appearing on the Learning Commons/Zapp Lab web page this week! Check us out:

SECOND LIFE LETTER JACKET PROGRAM
The Second Life Letter Jacket program was developed to provide students an opportunity to have a letter jacket who otherwise may not have the resources to purchase one. All patches and embroidered names have been removed from the donated jackets by NHS volunteers (other than the Eastview logos). In addition, each jacket has been professionally cleaned. Click Here to complete the application for a jacket. Contact Dr. Franchino with any questions rob.franchino@district196.org.
