COLLEGE AND SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
UPCOMING COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY VISITS
Students should stop by the Counseling Office get a pass to attend the college/university/military Rep Visit prior to the visit in Career Center (located right next to Counseling Office). These university/college or military visits are small group meetings typically lasting 20/30 minutes. These admission reps are often times the same people that review college applications, so it's a great connection for students.
(JUNIORS) ACT PREP COURSE – Registration is due by Wednesday, January 2
New Schedule and Curriculum! Please note this course will only be offered these dates during second semester. Curriculum will be completed prior to the April 2nd test for Juniors. Eastview High School is offering the ACT Prep Course to help you prepare for this important test. The course provides 16+ hours of focused study in preparation for the ACT Test. Our experienced teachers will navigate students through the ACT testing process. This year we are introducing PREPWORKS (https://prepworks.com/) as our online support program. Prepworks features a personalized learning path that continues long after the student completes our course. The combined after school course and online resource will help students build confidence and skills that will boost their scores on the actual test. The cost of the program is $180, which includes instruction, online program and testing materials. Scholarships are available for students who need financial assistance (see Larinda Hodges in Guidance). Whether you have taken the ACT test before or you are new to the experience, we will prepare you to do your personal best. This course is open to sophomores; however, the new online program (Prepworks) is only active through the end of the school year. Renewal cost would be $30.
Registration is limited to 15 students per class. Classes will fill. Registration forms, calendars and detailed information can be found at our website: EVHS homepage / Academics / ACT Prep
