Senior Portraits

• Senior Portrait Requirements
• Submission deadline: December 1.
• Seniors usually furnish an individual photo to the Yearbook.
• Because seniors are asked to provide a Senior Portrait to the Yearbook, formal class photos of seniors are not usually taken at school.
• Every effort is made to include all seniors in the yearbook. However, the Lightyear staff can NOT guarantee that portraits submitted after the posted deadline date will be published. Special situations regarding late submissions should be brought to our attention by contacting the Lightyear Advisor.
• Seniors may choose any photographer they wish to produce their portraits. Seniors are reminded that they need to make their photo arrangements early! Call ahead to secure a convenient date for your sitting, typically early in the summer after your junior year. Studios are glad to book weeks or even months ahead. Your picture should be taken by at least
  October 15th to allow time for photo orders to be processed and submitted to the Lightyear staff by the final deadline date.
• Pictures for late-arriving new students and transfers to EVHS (all grades) are required for Eastview High School identification cards. Photos should be arranged by contacting the Yearbook Staff.

• Guidelines:
  • Head and shoulders only; be sure to have your photo cropped above the waist
  • 2.5 X 3.5 inch wallet prints or digital image file is required

  • Color photos only; no black-and-white or "soft focus"
  • No commercial logos
  • Tell your studio the deadline and give them the email for submissions: evhsseniors@gmail.com
• If you are not having a photo studio produce your portrait, you should get your photo taken during Picture Day/Retake Day (go to ALL STUDENTS for more information)
• There is a summer opportunity for Senior students to arrange a FREE yearbook-only senior portrait sitting until July 30 from Valley Images Photography, 952-423-1200.
• Also, you may contact Mark Eliason Photography to schedule free yearbook senior photos after school.

Be sure to submit your candid photos of seniors (and others) from summer vacation, during classes, at EV games, etc.

We're looking for a broad variety of candid photos from each class, especially the Seniors.
