ASSIGNMENT #2: 6 Word Autobiographical Story

Create a Six Word Autobiographical story and produce that story into a 6 Shot video. Stories told in just six words.
Brevity is a virtue.
This is a collection of short stories consisting o fjust six words. It was inspired by Ernest Hemingway's famous challenge.

You will have one week to complete it.Your collage must include:

OBJECTIVE:

You will tell the story of YOU in just 6 words and 6 shots. No two shots can be alike; in other words you must use 6 different shots from 6 different angles. Every edit must be from a different distance. Every shot should be from a different location. your grade will be marked down for 2 shots in a row that are same/similar.

STORYTELLING:

Be "creative" in how your stories are told. Every good story has a beginning, middle and end. Within the variety of shots, consider how many others in that exact same situation would shoot that part of the story in the exact same way. Be different! Use color and light to your advantage. And don't settle on the first thought EVERYBODY would assume. Dare to be DIFFERENT! You may use the Green Screen technique to change your background if you'd like.


You may use voiceover narration of your 6 words, royalty-free music, NAT Sound and any other audio you wish to help tell your story.

Video Length

Each shot must be no less than 3 seconds and no longer thatn 6 seconds. Therefore the total lenght of your video will be :18 to :30 seconds.

Most importantly…be creative!  
You must do a one page, typed response that explains the steps you did to create your project.  Both the assignment and the write up are due at the beginning of the hour.   This assignment is due on Friday, September __ and is worth 63 points.  Remember that any late assignment is worth half credit.
